Ya know, for all his faults, Elon speaks in the same awkward-fuck kinda way that I do. I'm pretty self-conscious about it, but it doesn't hold him back (that's his lack of a filter mostly), and...

I've started this stream from the beginning, so I don't have much else to say at the moment.
edit:
Joe: and, where is Neuralink right now?
Elon: I think we'll have something interesting to announce in a few months
I really hope so. Neuralink is the project of his that I'm most excited about. I really do think that Brain-Computer Interfaces, and the potential merging with AI is the future of humanity. For those that consent to it, anyway.
Honestly, he seems really socially anxious and mildly bipolar. I can respect that in a billionaire. Honestly you can tell he's one of the only guys who doesn't really believe in the idea of PR...

I notice his accent's starting to naturalise a bit, which I find interesting.

Well when that legal marijuana using, billionaire CEO of a public company also goes around baselessly accusing a man who worked tirelessly for days risking his life cave diving to help free children trapped in said cave in Thailand of being a pedophile simply for calling his blatant PR stunt a PR stunt... and also does incredibly unethical bullshit like publicly announcing the desire to take his company private again while also claiming that funding is already secured for the process when it isn't (potentially violating the law by doing so).... that makes me question their decision making ability, competence and whether any investment in their company is a good idea.
I don't think CEOs needs to be superhero, flawlessly behaved puritans... but some level of decorum, social awareness and the ability to stop themselves from making total fucking fools of themselves in public on the regular isn't too much to ask, is it? And this podcast, while cool and highly entertaining, certainly won't help Elon achieve that, especially so soon after all the other major mistakes he has made recently.
Sound alike he's more suited for presidency. In all seriousness, he doesn't handle himself like your typical CEO and I get why that doesn't sit well with investors but I don't think he wants to be...

He's has goals, which are often at odds with your typical private business, he's been very open about for some time and has expressed regret that he had to make Tesla public in order to fund those goals.

As a socially-anxious fuck myself, it feels nice that somebody with such a speech pattern is a prominent figure.
Right?!
I'm so utterly confused at this point. I don't even know what to say.
It's been an amazing experience.
Their discussion right now is hilarious.
They went on about Buddhist monks on acid; I love this. As much as I dislike Joe Rogan, at least.
Joe's face at the end sums up this stream for me.
How about Elon's Oma-face when he dropped the "I know this may sound corny, but love is the answer." line?!
It's been hours and I just can't get this smile off of my face; it's just too pure.
Honestly, who can really be upset with that? Worth a few angry rich people to get a more chill, more human raw take of Musk, at least in my opinion.
Why can't a person be human while running a multi-billion dollar company? Better a legal marijuana user than a puritan, I'd say.

I mean... the guy did tell Musk to shove a submarine up his ass first, and Musk did apologize for the name calling afterwards.
