After discussing the various aspects of how the stock market operates somewhat independently of the economy, it talks about how the 5 major tech companies are doing well enough that it's covering the losses of all the smaller companies. Some of which may not even be included in the popular indexes such as the S&P 500. Would love to dig into that some more. Give some example companies, or alternative index funds.

Take the NASDAQ 100 (tracked by ETFs like QQQ, for instance), which is the main tech index. It's up 31.4% YTD. Compared the SP500, which is up 4.79% YTD.
Clean energy is doing extra well, too. TAN, a solar ETF, is up 34%.
