I'm directly linking the original author's page, as well as the Mastodon discussion that sparked a front-page HN thread. The e-book is free here; the authors are trying to find a new print-on-demand vendor.
I'm posting in ~food because I'm more interested in promoting a charming, user-friendly cookbook aimed at people with mental, physical, and financial disabilities, inexperienced cooks, the time-strained, and everyone who's just got nothing left in the energy bank, than in starting another "Evil Amazon" discussion.
It's easy in foodie-world to treat anything that isn't slow, local, organic, lovingly prepared for Insta, etc. as unworthy or contemptible. But we've all got to eat, and this book makes just feeding yourself okay.
I had all these plans to cook, and enthusiastically bought groceries yesterday. Today I woke up, and discovered that it was going to be a fine day to lie flat on the couch instead because ouch. Finding out this cookbook existed was a ray of sunshine.

As much as "girl dinner" spawned some weird gendered takes, I'm a big fan of "throw something vegetable, a protein, some fat and some carbs together and it doesn't matter how or what those things are in the end. Eat. Fed is best applies to adults too
ETA: also to note for those interested i think it's veggie/vegan which is great! I'm neither but always appreciate more recipes and if I had the spoons to cook meat I'd probably have done so.
