Same here. I'm living for the stone fruits, fresh corn from my childhood town, beautiful tomatoes of all kinds, and fresh peas! I eat them like people eat popcorn!

I had friends over and made some tortillas de yuca (also called cassava/manioc), but not the flat type of tortillas, they're quite thick. Stuffed them with cheese or a minced beef marinade. It was received quite well and I made so many that I'm going to be eating them for another day or two. They're a lot of effort for just myself so it's usually only when there's a group that I make them.

Also did a bit of baking of soda bread, although I can't seem to get it baked at the way through before the outside starts to burn, so the very middle of it seems quite dense. Still, it's a taste of home and a nice small breakfast that does me until lunchtime.

I tried this absolutely delicious chocolate I got at a coop in SF when visiting my best friend. It was dark chocolate with passion fruit and sesame seeds. I checked their website and all of their products are safe for me and Mr. Tired, with our allergies, and it tasted divine. Crow and Moss Chocolate

Any suggestions on guava recipes (sweet or savoury)?
