    Just looking at the graphic in the article, it doesn't look like eating insects directly would be that much better than eating Chicken or Pork. I wonder how much insect feed it takes to raise a Chicken? There's got to be some amount of loss there.

    The same graphic confirms my general impression that beef is pretty overwhelmingly worse than chicken or pork, and I'm about 95% sure that cows are not going to do well on a diet of insects.

      I don't think the plan is to use insects as exclusive feed for animals, but as the primary protein source instead of soy or fishmeal. That allows more soy use for day-to-day human feed, and less...
