Just made Claire Saffitz's foccacia today, from Dessert Person (video). Love it, it's so delicious. The book is really good too -- we got it from the library but I think we're going to buy it.

I've been on a scrambled egg kick for lunch for a week or so. Fry some veggies with a bit of olive oil in a pan - I switch it up, but frequently choose 3 from spinach, jalapeno, mushrooms, onions, bell peppers, tomatoes, asparagus - then crack a couple of eggs on top and scramble them up. Sometimes I'll put that in a big tortilla, and sometimes I'll just plate it up. I usually put on a bit of hot sauce - the current sauce is a homemade, relatively mild sauce made from a pepper I couldn't particularly identify. That's been my lunch for the past 7 or 8 workdays.

If you crave more protein, you can add in a bit of cheddar, or some ham or something, but I've just been doing egg + veggies + sauce.

Finally cooked an actual meal for the first time in awhile - something we call chicken creole stew. Pretty healthy actually and very tasty.
