      So he got kicked out of the Rapid section for wearing jeans. They then relaxed the dress code to allow jeans. He then played and shared 1st place with Nepo in the Blitz section. (Rapid and Blitz...

      After having walked out of the Rapid Championship (where he was having a poor showing) after being disqualified from round 9 for wearing jeans, Carlsen made a U-turn on his decision to not play the Blitz championship

      So he got kicked out of the Rapid section for wearing jeans. They then relaxed the dress code to allow jeans. He then played and shared 1st place with Nepo in the Blitz section. (Rapid and Blitz are different time controls)

      He was told to change and refused, then withdrew, then they adjusted the dress code (some) and he rejoined...if I followed the timeline correctly.
