This was a very entertaining watch, and it reminds of when I first discovered the channel. Simon goes through all these delightful stages of disbelief, and finally turns to pure joy right when he realises that what seems like an impossible construction is actually solvable. I suspect he hams it up just a little these days, but he still comes across as completely genuine and as someone who just loves puzzles.

This one I had absolutely no idea where to begin. I managed to rule out an 8 in the bottom left corner, and that was about it!

I was tempted to post this one myself when I originally watched it, for many of the same reasons you mentioned. IMO Simon is at his best when he is totally disbelieving to start with, flustered initially when trying to figure out how to tackle the problem, but then slowly gets to solving a brilliant puzzle. The only reason I didn't post it is because, despite me enjoying those aspects of it, I thought it might be a bit too long and complicated of a solve for most people to enjoy. Glad to see I am not the only one who enjoyed it though! :)

I've been doing sudoku on and off for a few years, and some of the leaps are a little on the baffling side... Even after watching the whole video, I'm still not entirely sure I get the reciprocity stuff!
