Pokemon Go forums outside of Reddit?

I noticed that r/pokemongo and r/TheSilphRoad are down because of the blackout, so now I'm not sure where to go for information. The actual Silph Road forum was shut down by Niantic, and ones like Pokemon Go Hub aren't as focused on PvP or have the kind of discussion that the subreddit did. Does anyone know of other forums out there?

While there's no straight replacement for The Silph Road, the best website for PvP is Stadium GO and for general content there's Leek Duck

My local pokemon go discord also has a connected facebook group that we mostly keep an eye on to help people figure out how to get in the discord server.

I've found a board for it on Squabbles, but that's it. Looking for more.

If you don't live too far from a university, they usually have Pokemon Go clubs or groups. You could Google "(insert city or university name) Pokemon Go group" and likely find a page pointing towards the local Facebook group and/or their Discord. It's usually not just the university students as a lot of alumni stick around the servers after graduation and people from the local community are connected through friends they've made.

Facebook and Discord are the only way I've found to connect with local groups outside Reddit. I haven't played much in the last few months, but I don't suspect many new groups have emerged.
