Classic was kind of in a rough place, in that it is a locked down version of the original set of cards, long after the meta was all figured out, and existed as a museum experience. Twist is something of a Tavern Brawl Ladder that allows mix and match sets, and other deck building restrictions, compared to Wild's full firehose of content and Standard's last 2 years. On the cynical side, they get to sell a whole lot of old packs this way, but maybe this could breath some new life into the game and you can have some really out there decks that aren't overwhelmed by the hypertuned wild meta.
