Remnant 2 so far is great. Your thoughts?

I've been playing through Remnant 2 and having a great time with it. I think they've hit on a great mix of combat and challenge. Plus I was pleasantly surprised to find that the writing, especially for the lore, was quite engaging (the intro doesn't set a high bar tbh). Still in progress for the game, so no spoilers please, but what do you think?

I mean, it's not going anywhere and good single player, so no need to rush out just to get the newest thing. I haven't noticed any issues, but even so it'll get improved over time with patches and only get cheaper so objectively speaking this is the worst time to buy it, if you wanna think of it like that.

Thinking of it like that, it actually does help… I mostly just didnt want the story and little secrets to get spoiled mostly. Although if I don’t go seeking them out, I’ll probably be fine.

I'm also loving it so far although I have only been able to put 4-6 hours into it so far. I was a little worried about how it would run based on some reports but have been pleased with the performance so far. I pretty consistently get between 80 and 110 fps on 1440p with my 3070.

I really just need to find people to play as I played through the first one in coop and enjoyed that a lot more the solo.

If anyone reading this wants to add me on Steam, my friend code is: 45431339

So far, I'm very much enjoying it. Even if I have run into some bosses/puzzles that were getting annoying at first. Definitely going to try and get through the story before joining random games/opening my lobby up too much. That said, if anyone might want to play on PS, let me know.

I agree on the lore, it starts weak but the individual lore of each world you visit is very cool. So far I've done only Neuru and currently going through the Victorian Elf London that crashed with the sleek world full of Tyrael-looking dudes and the whole concept is fucking wild.

The hidden stuff is pretty nuts, but I kinda like that for replay purposes. Definitely seems to be much enhanced by playing blind, but there are some secrets that will stick in your craw for sure.

These people have waaaay too much Kojima in their lives. I love that this silly shit exists and the more I play the game the more I realize it's really not that important if you miss it, but damn if it doesn't frustrate me every time I find about it. It's definitely growing on me as I play it with my coop buddy.
