What is your favourite Caves of Qud character build?

At the moment I've been having fun with the beginner Gunwing preset (flying mutant with dual revolvers) but I'm curious as to what other people have had fun with!

    I've generally tried to do melee builds (since qud is one of the few games of its genre to make melee interesting and mostly viable). I think my best run was a dex based short blade build that...

    I've generally tried to do melee builds (since qud is one of the few games of its genre to make melee interesting and mostly viable).

    I think my best run was a dex based short blade build that eventually got torn apart by an angler. But i've also really enjoyed axe builds.

    I kept meaning to try an "injector" build, to see if you could cause overdose effects on enemies, but never got around to it.
