Ryujinx has the philosophy of trying to accurately emulate the Switch rather than just get games working. Reading their progress reports is interesting as they're figuring out and solving what the Switch does and how games utilize it. The author does a good job of balancing being technical and accessible.

They buried the lede in this one though, they merged their ldn_mitm functionality to main! Wicked cool, would've never thought it possible for emulator and official systems to play together.

Ldn_mitm is an alternative that transforms the functionality of any game that has LDN functionality, into one which has LAN functionality. This means that any real Switch with the ldn_mitm sysmodule can connect to any other equivalent Switch, and additionally to Ryujinx. The downside is that for this method to work, all systems must be on the same network, whether real or virtual.

      sounds pretty good too.

on battery-powered devices such as the Steam Deck. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, while simply sitting on the character select screen, has its power consumption cut from 15.8W, all the way to 9.1W

      sounds pretty good too.

Damn, that's basically the same TDP you need to run N64. That's a crazy efficiency boost.

Is Switch Emulation on the Deck good enough to not use a Switch anymore? For games like the other Xenoblades and Legends Arceus for example.
