Sony studios seem to have caught the roguelike bug, this and TLOU2 with the roguelike mode out next month, it's an exciting time to be a roguelike fan!

Small Update: I just ran through my first two "complete" runs on Give Me Courage difficulty. I love roguelikes and this was such an interesting way to add to the GoW Ragnarok story, and a great exploration of Kratos. I'm having a lot of fun with it and really happy to get back into Kratos's boots.
Last update (for me) on this: Just finished the DLC! Took about... 10 tries (not including the auto fail ones) on Give Me Courage difficulty! What an amazing DLC, can't believe it was free....

Spoilers for DLC.
What a way to circle back through Kratos's journey. I've played God of War since the first one almost 20 years ago, and it's crazy that they added so much depth to the original angry man that was just hell bent on killing gods. I loved the little moments, the Blade of Olympus and just talking about the original games! Little mentions of the Hydra, and of the boat captain brings me back to my childhood. It's so hard to believe that they can reframe Kratos as the God of Hope, and really honestly make it work
Super excited for what comes next, what a crazy series.
Free DLC for Ragnarok, releasing in 5 days on December 12th!
Nice, sounds like there's maybe a roguelike element to it which is a fun twist. The price is right

Hopefully its more fleshed out than the first game's DLC, those were pretty barebones and disappointing
