For those who have only played Persona 4 and 5, this game has all of the same core (Social Links, persona gathering, velvet room, dungeon grinds) but the way it goes about it is different. While Persona 4 tackles self acceptance, and Persona 5 tackles justice and youthful rebellion, Persona 3 tackles the existential concepts of life and death. Given the heavy topic, the mood of the game does have a darker tone on the main story. Obviously, with what they show in this trailer, the concept of suicide is high with their persona summoning guns called "evokers" as well as trying to deal with how people's lives can get derailed and diverge from others (for better or worse).
I highly recommend this game, and if the Persona team did their job properly, this will be the best version of Persona 3 yet. I'm super stoked!
I adored Persona 4 Golden, played both versions of 5 and bounced off the original release of P3 Portable at some point. I feel like I'm very ready for this remake of three though, I really liked...

It's gonna be on Game Pass day 1, but I think I'm just gonna grab it on Steam to mostly play on the deck.
For the song and opening itself, it's great. Just like all the other ones!

I'll be incredibly sad if they don't bring back FeMC eventually. She added a lot of personality to Portable.

I have never played the original Persona 3 but this looks really nice. Can't wait for the game to come out!
