I'm going to be mean and say if this didn't have Wētā and LOTR on the branding I wouldn't even click on it as a mobile game ad. I could be totally wrong though and maybe the game play loop is really fun and the stories really well told with good voice acting to make up for the graphical choices?

I think the price is going to be the biggest factor in how well it does.
notably this comes from Wētā Workshop, who worked on a lot of the physical props/sfx on the LOTR movies.
