Well, Kiwami was the remake of the first game, so it makes sense, kinda. I'm impressed they even got this game to run on the Switch at all. Even though it's been years since I played the game,...

I'm impressed they even got this game to run on the Switch at all. Even though it's been years since I played the game, it's pretty clear that a lot of the fancier graphical flourishes and details are missing from it. The moire effect from the fence in the batting cage looked particularly bad.
I’ve been waiting for years for these games to release on switch, so this is a dream come true. I already own most of them (sometimes multiple times), but now I can play at work.

I'd caved earlier this year and bought a Steam Deck and just went on a rampage beating entries in this series back-to-back (i had only played a part of 0 and 7 up to the final boss.) Games with...

I should just get a Steam Deck. I was waiting to see if Valve was going to continue supporting it or give up on it early they did with the Steam Controller, Steam Link and Steam Box. It would help me kill my Steam backlog to be able to play at work.

Especially since Zero is widely considered among the best in the series
That's my concern tbh- 0 is amazing and would definitely hook more people on the series
Favorite part of the game? The 80s phone sex minigame was mine. Sooo so ridiculous.
Have to be lame and say Majima's final dungeon.
Favorite side activity is the Cabaret Club minigame. Gave me Diner Dash vibes.
Maybe because kiwami 1 is smaller in scope than 0? K1 felt like a DLC compared to 0 (and it shows in my playtime: I have 86 vs 32 hours)
