This game really was the perfect storm of incredibly shitty industry practices. Insane mismanagement on the game's rollout, microtransactions and grinding for content out the ass, and now that they've lost their money they are wiping the game from existence. The people who got dicked the most were the fans who actually supported it, they just got fleeced.
This game should have been successful. If WB didn't chase that live service high, this would have been a modestly popular cult favorite, minimum. Instead it's just next in line in the list of money vortexes WB has shat out. What an awful company.

I'm shocked but not surprised at the sheer incompetency this project was handled with. It had everything going for it and could have easily been a contender with Smash Bros. but they just absolutely faceplanted. Unbelievable.
I haven't given these people (discowarnermax) a cent since they axed Infinity Train and made it impossible to get (as well as several other things). Companies that operate like this don't deserve...

Putting the game in open beta, then taking it down for a year until rereleasing it in a much worse state really wasnt the best of ideas.
