Doogie Houser MD was before my time*, so for others who don't get it, Doogie was played by NPH, and the lady is Ryan's in real life sister in law, but she used to play Doogie's love interest
Robyn Lively as Michele Faber (seasons 2 and 4), a nursing student. She becomes Howser's girlfriend shortly before he decides to leave Eastman and go to Europe.
'* not as in age, but as in, I didn't speak much English at that time

p.s. I also had no idea about the Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon Ryan Reynolds connection through his wife to the show either, which is pretty cool.
How closely did they get the bedroom decor and guest climb able tree house entrance aspect? It sounds fun to have medical drama interwoven with "teenage hijinks" and...the girlfriend would have...

It's been several decades since I last watched the show so I had to go look for myself to refresh my memory. But they got remarkably close! See for yourself: Original show bedroom, Reynold's...

And Wanda was his high-school girlfriend, with all the drama that entails. Robyn Lively played Michele who was a Nursing student he started dating after him and Wanda broke up, IIRC.
Oh wow they put some work into that! Looks really great side by side The original has too few pixels to really tell what's on the shelves, but Reynolds' has a Rolodex, calculator, plasma ball,...

The original has too few pixels to really tell what's on the shelves, but Reynolds' has a Rolodex, calculator, plasma ball, anatomy head model, lava lamp, articulated lamp which are classic 80s 90s smart guy room props lol. What is the red handled black white item in front of the speaker (?). There must be a warehouse where they keep old computer CRT monitors, wired keyboards and mice!
It looks like something (maybe a bent over human figure?) that was 3D printed then covered with a paper cup. I have no idea what it really is, or was meant to be though. :P

In the original (the red part is obscured) the end of the white item looks like a can. Maybe part of a tin-cans-and-string "telephone," complete with a "hook" to hang it on? Edit: Just found this...

Edit: Just found this photo, which lends credence to my can theory but raises other questions.
Edit the 2nd: a tiny bit more digging, and I think I have the answer: Geoffrey Rose's art piece that appears to be titled "Paint it Red." It appears to be part of a larger line of "Frozen Moments" sculptures.
I think you might be right! Lol maybe the intern in charge of making this for the modern set had no idea what to do and 3D printed a stand and wrapped a can in paper

It being a Meta Quest exclusive sucks ass... but it's pretty cool to see Neil Patrick Harris voicing Deadpool!

Thanks! See my edits, I was wrong at first it turns out.
Bravo! I had to look back and forth a few times but yes there it is!
