Not gonna lie, I was initially a little excited when they were showcasing gunplay, movement, and abilities against PVE enemies. Was giving off some Destiny vibes, which wouldn't be an unwelcome thing seeing as how Bungie is just unravelling right now. Then the arena shooter gameplay started and I instantly lost all interest. I hope they find some success in such a brutally competitive genre but I won't be following this one at all.

The gunplay and mounts seem promising and the premise of playing something that feels like Titanfall again inspires me, but the fact that it's a grounded hero shooter with abilities and characters that seem generic kills a lot of that. MMO-lite looter shooters and hero shooters are a dime a dozen nowadays ; proper arena shooters are rare and die quickly. I would have preferred that.
