If I'm only interested in a couple of them, that just makes the thread almost entirely off-topic to me and I have no way of figuring out if new comments are something I might want to read without having to read all of them.
I know it's annoying in other ways to have so many posts, but people can unsubscribe from ~games or use different sorting methods very easily as well.

This isn't spamming. If you don't want to see game trailers during E3, you should probably unsubscribe from ~games.

It's not their fault the rest of us aren't posting all the E3 news. I'd rather have this than a megathread when things move this slowly.
