Once bitten, twice shy...
Forgive me for holding my breath until the update is released and thoroughly reviewed before taking the considerable time to even bother downloading and going through early-game again.
Yes, call me cautiously optimistic, however, I didn't hate the game originally, it just felt a bit shallow. I find playing games with friends usually adds a lot to the fun, so as long as it works,...

Even if the product actually turns out to be reasonable, I will actually be quite surprised if this is at all a success after what happened the first time.

Holy shit, this can't be serious. That was the whole problem with the game in the first place... Haven't even seen anyone play it and I already dislike it.

I've gotta give them credit for addressing the community's issues with the game. It's not often you see developers overhaul a title so dramatically based on player feedback, especially given the amount of time that's passed and severity of public backlash the game went through. This screams labor of love to me, so I'm willing to give it a shot.

The fact that the game is pretty bland doesn't help either. But I still liked it as a casual explore / gather game.
But hello games deserves some credit for updating and supporting the game. Many other game companies would have taken the money from the first release and ran. They use it to fund further development.

Agreed. If they add more content I might pick it up.

"Every atom procedural"
Wow, the first line is already an obvious over-promise. Do they ever learn?
