P.s. This is also one of the reasons I have advocated for the ability to legitimately cross-post, where rather than a duplicate topic being submitted to multiple groups

Definitely with you, it's a bit annoying to see the same Reddit post two or three times in the span of a few minutes because it has been crossposted/reposted to multiple subreddits I'm subscribed to.

No, you just buy it once and the expansion content gets unlocked for you as they are phased out. The only thing you need to buy every time is the latest expansion.

Same thing happened to me. First time I played, I tried to do as much as I could with my time and optimize everything. Didn't last more than a few hours. Came back to it later with the goal of doing things at my own pace and just relaxing. I put something like 140 hours into this game by the end. I collected almost everything you can collect and did pretty much everything the game has to offer outside of relationships. It's definitely worth a second try.

I might be biased, since I'm a huge fan of the game, but single player games have nothing to do with WoW's success or failure. They're doing this to make it more accessible to new players, which was always a problem. Many friends of mine refused to try the game because they'd have to buy the base game.

It's been like this since forever. The change is that now you don't have to buy the base game anymore. As long as you have a subscription, you have access to everything in the base game.

By making everything but the most recent (or rather, the next) expansion part of the "base" game, you can get people into the game a lot easier.

You do this by adding the emulators as "Non-Steam games" in your library (ADD A GAME -> Add a Non-Steam Game...). From there you can right click the emulator in your library and go to "Edit Steam...

I think the biggest issue for me was to get Steam to recognize the emulators and set up the controller from their.

You do this by adding the emulators as "Non-Steam games" in your library (ADD A GAME -> Add a Non-Steam Game...). From there you can right click the emulator in your library and go to "Edit Steam Controller Configuration..." to change your keybinds for that emulator. If the emulator has controller support, you just set your controller as a regular controller. If it doesn't you bind your controller buttons to the same keyboard keys the emulator expects (this was detailed in my previous comment).

Unfortunately, I haven't played around with emulators for those two consoles too much. I do have an N64 emulator installed, but I haven't used it more than a couple of times so I may have missed something. The one I have is Mupen64 with Mupen64Py for the GUI. This is what my controller configs look like (it's just a regular gamepad) and this is what my keybindings look like in the emulator (it's set up as a regular controller since it has controller support).

Those configs are as basic as it gets, so here's something a little more complicated. Here's what my Citra (3DS emulator) setup looks like: controller configs and emulator keybindings.

I think it should be handled just like any other content. If it's interesting content that could generate discussion or meaningful comments, then by all means let it happen.

Using examples I've seen going around this thread, posting a picture of a porn star naked or a gif of her having sex probably won't bring too much to the table. You'll get comments like "oh yea this is so hot", which are completely useless, and that's about it.

On the other hand, a post about sex education or a health focused one would be perfectly fine. I'd say even AskReddit-style posts like "What are your fetishes" are fine. Those get people involved, generate discussion and often have interesting information.

We shouldn't ban NSFW just because it's NSFW, we should treat it like every other kind of content.

That said, we would probably need a functional NSFW tag before we start posting that.
