Online distribution is a blessing and a curse. Much easier access directly opposed to developers who ( and management companies who push for ) release games to early and unfinished.
Take the extra time to make sure its a good product.
I don't care about what other people thought about Mighty No. 9; I didn't like it. I thought the "absorb Xel" mechanic made boss fights unnecessarily difficult, especially when the default weapon...

I thought the "absorb Xel" mechanic made boss fights unnecessarily difficult, especially when the default weapon is all you've got.
I thought the emphasis on chain kills/combos and speed detracted from the classic run-and-gun platforming gameplay.

Same here. I'd be sorely disappointed if Bloodstained: RotN turned out as poorly as Mighty No. 9 did.
I didnt get No. 9 but heard a lot of salty responses about it.
Was it THAT bad?
