This game looks really interesting and reminds me of Second Life a great deal (in a meta-commentary way)... so much so I was actually surprised he didn't mention SL at all during the video. I was also super happy he referenced Dan Bell, whose Youtube channel is fantastic and whose Dead Mall series perfectly exemplifies "the detritus and forgotten artifacts that capitalism leaves in its wake", as Errant so aptly put it. That whole section describing vaporwave also had another awesome quote/commentary as well:
"...combined with its inescapable joking irony, the result is music that can at once be read as a celebration and lament of the waste generated as a byproduct of corporate machinations; art, created and then discarded, given new life, even if that new life singularly reflects on its own abandonment. An ode to planned obsolescence as sung by the obsolete."
