Looks like it dropped on Switch yesterday! I went ahead and bought it on Steam since I got a 75% discount, but I may have to double dip just for a portable version.

Oh, looks like I was given this for free on Steam because I own Evoland 2 (but I've never played it). I guess when I finally get around to it I'll have a better version now, that was nice of them...

I did play through the first one, and while I loved the concept of it, I felt like the execution was pretty weak. They just didn't do much very interesting with it, and it was quite short (I 100%ed it in a few hours). I've heard the second one is a lot better though, I should really play it sometime.
Definitely let me know your thoughts if you get a chance to play. I long ago gave up on JRPGs doing anything different, so I always enter with a very low bar. So long as the story is somewhat...

I did sink 90-ish hours into Octopath Traveller, after all.

I believe it's coming to the Switch as well! Definitely going to be picking it up, I played the first one on Android and adored it :D
