This probably won't be a fully fledged 60€ title, but they have some nice features, where only one of the people playing in coop has to buy the game and the other one pays onlike like 10 bucks or so to join them. I personally really disliked Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus, but I still care about the characters from the 1st game, so we'll see where that will lead.

For pricing, RockPaperShotgun's article says: The "Buddy Pass" lets you invite people to play co-op with you without having to own the game:

      For pricing, RockPaperShotgun's article says:

The Standard edition will cost £25/€40/$30, and the Deluxe edition (including the Buddy Pass and an extra skin pack) a bit more at £35/€40/$40. Players that pre-order get the cosmetic Legacy Pack, which includes some of BJ’s old outfits and melee weapons.

The "Buddy Pass" lets you invite people to play co-op with you without having to own the game:

The Deluxe Edition of the shooter will come with a 'buddy pass' that can be shared with a friend, who'll then get to experience the entirety of the game for free, as long as they're playing alongside the owner. What's more, the buddy pass can be shared with as many people as the owner chooses, although they'll only be able to play with one friend at once -- which makes sense given Youngblood's co-op is built for two players.

This all feels seriously cheap to me, like an 80's B-movie in a line of 2010's A-tier action flicks. I'm entirely okay with action flicks. It just this one... doesn't seem right to me. But then, I...

But then, I have no involvement with the series whatsoever. I'll probably never play it. At this point, I just want to figure out what is it that's bugging me about this.

Maybe it's just that it looks flat-out stupid? Because, I've played many of them, and they're all cheesy, B-movie stories, but this one is so cringe-inducing that I'll never give it another thought.
