Might tune in for the Chrono Trigger run, if only because I still have a soft spot for the game. I don't think I've seen an any% glitchless before. I've seen 100% glitchless, and straight any%, but not any% glitchless. The estimate, along with there being no entry for any% glitchless on speedrun.com, suggests it's actually 100% glitchless, so I'm wondering if it was just a mistake.

Yeah, I think it's probably 100% Glitchless, since puwexil is the runner, and they're #1 on that run type on speedrun.com.

Near as I can tell, it's mostly a naming quirk meaning roughly "beat the game however you can, except in these ways that we've decided are glitches." I can find very little talking about the weirdness of this naming and how it distinguishes itself from things simply labelled "glitchless" or even things with "no major glitches" (as there are often lists of what does and does not count as a glitch), so I take it as just another way to display the subjective and limited nature of what "glitchless" means so you can understand that anything not explicitly called out is fair game...there aren't specific win conditions.

But I appreciate you clarifying for those who may not know. :) I know what's involved in a 100% glitchless run (do all quests given by the Old Man at the End of Time, and no glitches), so I'm just curious what's changed since I last saw it at GDQ.

What I said was specifically about any% glitchless. It seems like you mean that category for Chrono Trigger, not the term itself...which is how I read it. Sorry for the trouble!
