BL1, 2, and the Pre-Sequel were great fun to play. I don't do multiplayer much anymore in video games, as my circle of friends is intentionally very small and unfortunately what we have in common does not tend to be online video games. That being said, even in single-player I've always enjoyed the foundation of the Borderlands games, so even if this does look a little "same-y", I'm still gonna play the shit out of it.
On top of that Gearbox is one of the few remaining powerhouse developers that have not yet done me dirty, so I'll happily give my money to them.
Can't say I see anything compelling, here. I've played a bunch of 1 and 2 and this still seems like the same game. Then again, I've become a bit disillusioned with video games in general as I've...

Then again, I've become a bit disillusioned with video games in general as I've become more of an 'adult'. Though, I've recently got into Apex Legends and have been having fun with that, if only because the team-play really engenders a feeling of camaraderie.
For many people, this is compelling. I understand and respect that it might not be for you, but if I would have purchased 5 more DLCs for BL2, even though it was getting a bit long in the tooth.

It looks like more of the same, and that's fine. I wouldn't be considering BL3 without the fact that my friends are planning on playing it together.
