Excellent game. Not very long (and only replayable a few times IMO) but it tells an extremely good story and is a great city builder. Highly recommend for ~15 or less. Not 100% sure how interested...

Not 100% sure how interested I am in the expansion, as the story mode is what made me enjoy the game (not endless mode, which is what this update additions to).
This was the comment I was looking for when popping in this thread. I, somehow, already have it in my steam library—must have been in some sort of earlier sale—but haven't played it yet. I'll give...

SpoilersOnly 3 people from his original population survived until he managed to get the Cannibalism event and law enacted, after which it got super easy since he had something like 2000 food from his 100+ dead pops, and 5 automatons by that point. So then he implemented the rule that every group of people he found in the wilderness with his 3 scout groups, he had to take in. He eventually got to 300 pop on day 45, survived the -120o storm with ease, and then called it quits (by letting everyone but 5 characters starve to death before making more food from the corpses). :P
It really is a great game; the music is phenomenal and the gameplay is solid. It also does a nice job with difficulty; it is difficult, but there isn't too much of a death spiral like Xcom 2. I...

This is kind of an old topic, but I couldn't think of anywhere else to post this... Edit: I gave it to Bal.
This is kind of an old topic, but I couldn't think of anywhere else to post this... I have a spare Frostpunk steam key and nobody I know seems to want/need it, so if anyone here on Tildes wants it, let me know and it's yours. Edit: I gave it to Bal.
Nice of you to offer! If nobody else wants it, I'd be happy to claim it, been looking at that game for a while now. But honestly I'm not sure when I'll have the time to play it, so if anyone else...

Nice of you to offer to pass on it if someone else asks! And because of that, I decided to PM the key to you so nobody else can. ;)
