While we're talking about tic-tac-toe, you should know that if you place your starting piece in one of the corners, as long as neither you or your opponent place their first tiles in the center, the first player will always win. You can gimp the AI here pretty easily with that, although the way your piece controls the next sector the AI can play in does add some more strategy to which corner you start in.

Yeah, I noticed that the AI is not the best, but that's probably because it's meant to be played online against other people.
In case you haven't done so, you can change the AI skill level in the options by clicking the speed dial icon on the bottom of the page.
Oh, I completely missed that. It's kinda hard to see, because it's tucked bottom-left + you have to mouse-over it.
You can choose to play against a computer under 'play offline.' You have to mouse over the speed dial icon to choose the difficulty.
Playing ultimate tic tac toe in person is the shit! Has to be the best "bored in public with a piece of paper" game there is.
