What I find interesting/troubling about this is that Human Head just released Rune 2 yesterday. Dissolving Human Head and reforming under Bethesda after dropping Rune 2 made it seem like that game wouldn't get any support. But then there's this odd tweet from the Rune 2 twitter account:
It seems some people, maybe from the publisher or remaining Human Head employees, are going to continue working on Rune 2. And whoever made the decision to close Human Head didn't inform this team.
Adding in the rumored bad history between Human Head and Bethesda over Prey 2, and the Epic Games Store exclusivity of Rune 2 when Bethesda expressly supports Steam while also having their own launcher, it feels like there was some schism in Human Head.

Wouldn't surprise me if Rune 2 didn't sell well, and this was the only option for the company to stay afloat.
