Many game devs over on itch.io are making their games temporarily free (100% off) to promote staying inside and self-isolating. This is a running list of those games.
I can highly recommend LOVE and kuso. Both are minimalist 2D platformers where you can set your own checkpoints. Both have sprawling, intricate level design and great music.
I realize this is very similar to the GOG post I made earlier, so if anyone feels those should just be folded into one post, I'm fine with that. I figured this was worth a post on its own, however, to feature the devs who are choosing to do this.

Faerie Solitaire Classic is also a nice, easygoing, casual card game.
Bleed and Bleed 2 are both excellent action platformers with very high skill-ceilings.
Lasercat is a cute little 2D platformer reminiscent of VVVVVV.
Super Skelemania is a short and enjoyable little metroidvania.
