It'll be interesting to see what new stuff they add, because this looks a ton like RL1. From the store page even they say: "Rogue Legacy 2 is what you'd get if you mashed Rogue Legacy and a sequel together." Hopefully there's some real evolution that happens, because the first one was perfectly fine for the era but there's been some incredible advances in platforming games in the seven years since the prior one was released.
Rogue Legacy is the only Roguelite I ever did a full run though, and I freaking love roguelikes. The difficulty curve wasn't punishing, you could get pretty OP in the overworld but the bosses will...
Rogue Legacy is the only Roguelite I ever did a full run though, and I freaking love roguelikes. The difficulty curve wasn't punishing, you could get pretty OP in the overworld but the bosses will still give you trouble, and the upgrades and heir system let's you roll up a new character, but still feel like you can customize it to your play style. I wait with baited breath.
