Personally though, I find it hard to motivate myself to learn the creation tools when I could be spending my time programming. Even still, the creations that other people make are consistently amazing.

It is programming though. You're giving a computer instructions to work with and react to external stimulation. For the right person who knows visual programming better than textual based code, I'm sure it would be more click more than any conventional programming language and they would wait for something similar to come to PC and do some really crazy stuff.

I'm always tempted to put time into learning it. I just feel... guilty? It's just hard for me to justify learning this form of programming when my personal GitHub is so barren, and I could be learning things that might help me get a job in the future. I learned Labview through Mindstorms and First Robotics, and I wouldn't trade that experience for the world, even if Labview is an incredibly niche language that ONLY NOW got a community version I can hobby around with. You'll learn better if you enjoy what you're doing, so go for it!

Fair point. I actually played around on it last night. Had a great time :).
