Tim Rogers has gone back to his own site, Action Button Reviews, after some years at Kotaku doing some unorthodox but highly informative videos such as a live re-translation FF7 playthrough and probably the only Death Stranding review that matches the bizarreness of Death Stranding (it's also the source of the phrase 'Death Stranding is the Gran Turismo of walking simulators').

The YouTube channel is relatively new but he's already building up a library of ridiculously long reviews that are more autobiography than review. If you're looking for some truly unique gaming content from someone who actually has worked in the Japanese industry, try these out.

None of these videos are meant to be digested in one sitting, they're all split up into sections to be enjoyed at your own pace. Especially this one. Don't spend 6 hours watching any one thing straight.

I haven't seen this particular video yet but I will second that previous videos were enjoyable and well worth the extreme duration. You're not the boss of me

I wish I had the patience to play stat management games. It is super fun finding all the story bits but I get very frustrated rubbing myself against surprise stat checks, specially as they happen deep into a playthrough. You kind of need to write a guide as you go.

The girls side sub series has english fan translations, has anyone played them?
