I've often complained about not being able to read text in modern games, even when I have my glasses on. This is a fairly comprehensive list of things that game developers can do to keep their games accessible (and therefore increase their market share and profits!). It breaks them into simple things (like choosing a large minimum font size and letting users configure it), to fairly advanced things that take much more work on the part of the developer. It covers simple things like making fonts readable as well as more complex things like making your UI accessible to people who have motor control issues, and so on.
