I've played through most of Tellus Terminus now and God DAMN this is a good pack! I was concerned that there might be too many new enemies but everything feels high quality and fits in to the game.
I've only had time to play a little bit of this (and spent most of that in the level select hub world trying to find the nightmare difficulty) but the level design looks REALLY tight and the new...

I was just telling someone today after showing them a 3D print that they didn't need formal education to get started designing basic models; everything I know about 3D modeling I learned from making Quake maps to play with my friends way back. This has inspired a group of us to download Quake again and do a nostalgic co-op run and then give this mod a try afterwards.
Enjoyed Quake back in the day, was never fast enough for multiplayer, but I'm probably going to download the pack just to extract the soundtrack. That music is awesome.

I'm not great at quake, but this is freaking cool. I just gave Geothermal Outpost a shot and it was great.

You could also check out Sauerbraten. The developer is a huge Quake fan and made quite a few major DM maps as Aardappel.
