My ship date got moved from Q1 2022 to Q2. I'm fine with it. I already built in some "Valve time" to my expectations, and I've been waiting years for a device like this, so another couple of months isn't really an issue for me. I honestly wasn't expecting to get it until late in 2022 anyway.
I will be curious to see if the Playdate is able to ship on time. It's the other handheld on my horizon, but I keep expecting to hear any day now that they're pushing them back too.

Same. Moved to Q2. Which I kinda figured would be the case. Even when they announced this, I was thinking "wait, what about the supply shortage?" I thought it was a very aggressive timeline.

I mean with the global shipping outages, who can blame them? It’s hitting pretty much everyone. I do hope the Steam Deck get shipped soon though. Even though I haven’t purchased one I was looking...

I do hope the Steam Deck get shipped soon though. Even though I haven’t purchased one I was looking forward to seeing if it could disrupt the handheld gaming market.

I wonder if they managed to change their timelines earlier in the year to move more at once even if they're all now slightly slower.
It seems likely that there are one or two parts causing the delay, so they can assemble everything else and then get them out once those parts come in.

Sure enough...

Is yours in Q2 or after? Mine says "Your expected order availability: After Q2 2022" for the 512GB version.
No “after” in mine:
I got the 512GB one as well.
