    I didn't expect this video to be as much a critical review of Forza Horizon 5 as it is an examination of what a love of cars involves, and an argument for the appeal of (and a healthy viewpoint...

    I didn't expect this video to be as much a critical review of Forza Horizon 5 as it is an examination of what a love of cars involves, and an argument for the appeal of (and a healthy viewpoint on) competitive racing in general.

    Also, @kfwyre, bonus mention of FUEL at 33:30 and its open world nature.

      Someone else who remembers FUEL existed! I loved that game. It's a real shame that it's actually quite hard to obtain/play nowadays

      Forza Horizon 5 is a realization of almost everything FUEL wanted to be, but more, and better.

      It's like he wrote this with the express purpose of selling the game to me specifically! I was already planning to get FH5, but if I wasn't, this absolutely would have absolutely sealed the deal.

      His take on FUEL is spot on, by the way. I will say that some of the pain points he identified are made less injurious with the REFUELED mod which is how I spent the majority of my time in the game, though I have no idea if the game or the mod is even still runnable given that it's a GFWL title.
