I was playing a hunter turned explorer who lived in the mountain pass between Whiterun and Riverwood. I had a little camp wedged in between some boulders with a tent and a tanning rack and a fireplace and everything. It was great fun!
My favorite start is an Orc warrior living in the hills south of Markarth. Great spot for it with Hunterborn and a smithing/heavy armor focused character. Lots to do and lots to mine.

Is there a master list somewhere for what is bundled into Wildlander's pack?

Requiem v4 is Oldrim-only and now depricated, v5 is SSE only. Some folks have been manually updating Requiem v4 to run on SSE for months with their own homebrew and patches - unsupported by the Requiem dev's but still workable enough. That shouldn't be necessary now, just drop in v5.
The main thing that interests me in v5 is there were total rewrites to some of Requiems core features including a much smarter patcher. Should make it all a lot easier going forward to make Requiem play nice with new content mods.
Quite a list, and most of it related to better gameplay and immersion. Not much in the way of new content there, but large expansion mods were always Requiem's nemesis since one has to patch each...

There's a summary on this Google Doc and it links to a full list but that link appears to be dead
