Bullies are like plants. To kill them you either keep them in the dark and never water them or you leave them in direct sunlight and drown them.
Some bullies are succulents and will thrive in neglect and some are lilies and thrive with too much water. Some are already dead and nothing you do to them will make a difference.
All to say it depends and varies.
If they’re mocking you in a small group they could be doing it for kicks and social status so the best starting point is to act nonplused and content bordering on happy and sort of ignore them. Let them know you know, you see them, but you don’t really mind. If they’re laughing at you, you think that’s fun and are cool with it and will continue doing what you’re doing.
You can’t control others but you can control how you feel about them and how you react to them. Don’t let them sour your day.
Are these people roommates or why can't you just leave the area? I typically remove myself in these situations, I can't control where and what other people do but I can move myself and control my...

Overall I'm sorry you're dealing with immature people. You should be proud working on learning another language.
What interests you in learning Finnish? You ever travel there?

I just want to learn another language. And in the future I want to move there.
And also it's helping me get through some hard times. When something annoying or sad thing happens I try to distract myself with a combination of a few things including Duolingo learning Finnish.
That's cool, I was doing Norwegian on duolingo I definitely enjoyed learning what I could from there. I just need to take initiative to get back on and then connect with a native speaker to help...

I'm sorry you're going through some hard times, and those people surely are not making it any better. However, the fact you're focusing on improving yourself and asking how to address this situation tells me your a thoughtful and good person.
I wish you continued success in your language journey
First comment is great, I'll add not to stew or ponder over it too. Take action now whether that's to not care, or to find a cohort to help you confront them. The worst option is letting it all...

Not a great answer but don't do the thing that they're making fun of you for when they're around. We're missing the context here do you're not going to get good advice. Context is everything. If...

We're missing the context here do you're not going to get good advice. Context is everything. If you're an adult then change your situation so that you don't have to interact with those people, if you're in high school then take my earlier advice of not doing it around them or like... punch them in the nose... but that can also make it way worse depending on so many things.

Thank you. I wish you the same with yours.
Is this like at school or something? It would be helpful to know a little more context about the situation.
Context?
Are these people coworkers, dormmates, etc?
