I was diagnosed after 30. It was good, weird and revolting to realize how many things I had lost because of it. I'll come back with more.

Yes, but I was declared cured anyway. They probably didn't want to deal with it anymore.
I've been told by (primary care) doctors, to my face, that adult ADHD doesn't exist. The amount of sheer misinformation about this disorder is absurd.
What country do you live in? You should report those doctors to the appropriate board. This is negligent behavior.
Or maybe you were misdiagnosed before.
Definitely not misdiagnosed, I suffer pretty much all the common symptoms and have been since elementary school.
