As of this morning, I am 30 pounds down since the beginning of August. I'm actually super proud right now, though I still have some goals of another 10 by March and another 10 by next August. This is the lowest I've been since college though, and I'm looking forwards to keep going.

My biggest change is two fold - doing 30 minutes of cardio every day (lucky to be able to buy a rowing machine at home) and adding more veggies to my diet (for fiber and just general feeling full). Definitely relaxing a bit for the holidays especially with a trip back to Asia on the horizon but I intend to at least hold at this weight till next month.

Doing more sprints in my workout. First I hop on my bike to ride to the gym. So cold I have to really haul ass to warm up. Then on the rowing machine I’m pulling the last 20 of every 100 as fast as I can. In the pool I’m sprinting the last couple laps. Then it’s on the bike again home. 2 hours twice a week.

It really makes a difference blowing myself out like that. The only way to really increase stamina.

I did something to my back putting on pants earlier this week. It hasn't impacted my ability to lift but definitely feeling stiff and have some restricted movement. Fortunately this week is a deload so I feel fine about dropping some weight and am happy to have time to recover after this block of training.

Progress is slow, but it's progress.
