    Whenever celebrities get wrapped in these controversies there's someone smugly stating that no one should base their opinions on celebrities but experts as if that's a unique thought. It's such a bullshit take that shifts the blame from the celebrity to the audience.

    And while it is true, it doesn't mean we shouldn't hold celebrities accountable. They have real influence and sell their products via their public persona. It's a total deflection to only take the good and leave the bad.
