On Facebook, I've been seeing some very important discussion about the whole "Breast is Best" vs "Fed is Best" debate. But what is disgusting to me is Trump's apparent willingness to discourage parents from breastfeeding in order to protect the interests of baby-formula makers. Their measures against other countries are tantamount to extortion.

Yes, let's not shame parents who choose formula or means other than breastfeeding to nourish their child. Some parents can't produce enough or any milk, adopted children often need formula, sometimes breastfeeding is just too painful. But, breastfeeding is often free. We shouldn't be pushing expensive formula on parents if they don't already want/need it!
Similar to how the California Net Neutrality bill was destroyed (then brought back), this is another perfect example of why we need to outlaw lobbies and mandate transparency with any donation...
Similar to how the California Net Neutrality bill was destroyed (then brought back), this is another perfect example of why we need to outlaw lobbies and mandate transparency with any donation made to political parties. Corporate money is the cause to many of the issues our country faces. I'm not saying that it will fix everything, but removing that aspect will create more honest politicians, and it will begin to surface many of the real issues we face instead of the spoon fed issues that we're fooled into believing are important.
The only issue is.... we would need the whole system in its current state to remove this... which we all know won't happen.

There's been some brief talk about adding functionality to recognize directly linked posts, but it's not implemented. Some merge ability from mods were also discussed, also not yet implemented....

I've noticed that in general, people just either delete their post or leave it but provide a link to the first posting.
In your case, since this is in ~news which has a larger audience, I would say leave it.
