Curious if anyone here is using CBD for health.
I've experimented with CBD extracts for arthritis, and as a sleep aid for travel stress. I found that there's rapid tolerance development for the effects. It's useful on an occasional basis, but not a miracle treatment.

I did my research and got some top quality CBD oil to take for headache, general tension, and muscle soreness. I got nothing from it and I don't see what the hype is about. I'm not a fan of the way THC makes me feel so maybe my system just isn't calibrated for either THC or CBD. I suspect that it's very effective for some but that much of it is hype. Hopefully some other folks here will weigh in with their experiences.

I use it occasionally to help with a long-term insomnia problem made worse by travel, and as a way to avoid toxic doses of anti-inflammatory drugs if all the arthritic bits start singing in chorus. The prescription drugs for either of those problems have nasty side effects, and well-known addictive potentials.
As I said, my experience with CBD is mixed, and I notice the effects diminish if taken for more than a day or two. That suggests CBD might have its own tolerance and habituation problems.
Yeah, I'm in a similar boat as you although for a different ailment. When Canada legalized a few months ago I got myself some CBD oil oral spray from a reputable, highly recommended brand, and it...
Yeah, I'm in a similar boat as you although for a different ailment. When Canada legalized a few months ago I got myself some CBD oil oral spray from a reputable, highly recommended brand, and it did jack shit for my anxiety/panic attacks despite a few friends of mine with the same issues swearing by it. The dose was a bit lower for the recreational grade CBD oil I bought compared to the medicinal grade stuff, but I honestly felt almost nothing at all from it, so I don't think even if I got a medicinal grade dose it would do much good.
Aw well, at least smoking actual pot with CBD+THC helps a bit and I can do that easier now. It's just a shame that pure CBD wasn't all that it was hyped up and I hoped it would be, especially since I would rather not be high all the time in order to get some long-term relief. :(
