    I've been doing some more Insanity with Shawn T this week. Trying to get core exercises into my routine so I'll focus on the core video with some random YouTube exercise videos rotated in and out.

    I'm trying really hard to end the year under 80kg … I got to 76 a couple months back and the other day I got up to 80kg again, which I swore not to go over. So, serious re-adjustment, and MORE BEAT SABER.

    I've started one-shotting Expert+ songs. In fact, I've fallen in love with Imagine Dragons - It's Time (I one-shot it both in Expert Fast, and Expert+ Regular).

    Nobody told me this: Something wonderful happens when you reach Expert+ level. So, the game has a pretty incredible flow -- once you get into it, most moves are instinctive; you don't think about them very much. But Expert+ has very different types of moves. It uses a lot of diagonal positioning, alternating positions, swapped notes, etc. And more than any other game mode, it becomes a dance. It's SO FUN. I have to rest my arms a bit, but holy crap.

    Anyway, I've lost 1kg again, thanks to this, so I'm now around 79kg.

    Anyone else got Beat Saber by the way? I ought to check out multiplayer mode…
