    Went to the gym for the first time in a year yesterday! My SO and I made sure to take it a little easy, so push ourselves but not overdo it. I feel like I have a slight advantage because I've been doing yoga, since it's body weight stuff and I've been really pushing myself to do more with holding poses and practicing flows. It can be really intense!

    Overall, I'm excited to be going back to the gym and I feel much better about going than I have before (probably because less depressy).

    I signed up for a Strava challenge where I'm supposed to do four strength-type workouts a week for the next four weeks. 1.5 weeks in, and I'm doing well! Yoga and Ring Fit Adventure are my go-tos, so I'll probably continue to alternate between those. I'm also looking into getting a new saddle for my bike, as I've started to outgrow the comfortable distance limits of the stock one that came with my bike 4-5 years ago.

    This week has been a tough one. Schedules and weather seemed to conspire to knock me off my progress. I have set myself a goal of achieving the monthly Apple Fitness challenge which means I have made it harder on myself in the remaining weeks of the month, but I'll catch up. I've made good progress with my biking into work and I can't let that slip. It's all about the long-term trend and not focusing on the bumps along the way.
