It explains all the visuals, and I highly recommend flipping through it as you watch the video.
This is a pretty strange video from Defunctland, with it being a totally unique/experimental way of presenting a documentary, but I still found it surprisingly enjoyable and interesting too. Especially since, as always with Defunctland, the production value was incredibly high. I can't even imagine how long this took to put together.
